F1 salaries 2023: How Lando Norris compares to staggering wages of Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, George Russell and the rest of the grid - gallery

Bristol-born Lando Norris is one of three British drivers on the Formula 1 grid in 2023.

Bristol-born Formula 1 driver Lando Norris is competing in his fifth season on the grid after making his debut with McLaren in 2019.

The 23-year-old has endured a tough start to the year, with two 17th-placed finishes in the opening two races as McLaren have a number of issues to overcome.

Norris achieved one podium last year as he finished third in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. His best year was in 2021, as he earned four podium finishes.

He finished second in Monza as teammate Daniel Ricciardo was first in McLaren’s first one-two finish since the 2010 Canadian Grand Prix.

Norris also came close to his maiden win in 2021 in the Russian Grand Prix as he was just laps away from converting his pole position in qualifying to a race victory but he slipped off the track after late rain started and eventually finished seventh, as Lewis Hamilton claimed the win.

Norris is one of the highest paid drivers on the grid, after, in February 2022, he signed a lucrative deal with McLaren until 2025 - and here’s how the driver’s estimated salary compares to the rest of the grid.
