Bristol City will welcome Championship rivals Fulham to Ashton Gate whilst Bristol Rovers are away at Peterborough United.

Ties are due to be played from Friday 7 January to Monday 10 January but with other ties such as Chelsea versus Chesterfield, don’t expect either match to be chosen for television coverage by the BBC or ITV.

As a result of the draw, Rovers’ League Two match with Barrow scheduled for January 8 will now be rearranged as a result of their progression.

The draw was hardly one that fans excited given the Robins have already played Fulham at home this season whilst the Gas already made a visit to London Road this year.

City held the Cottagers to a 1-1 draw as Kasey Palmer cancelled out Aleksandr Mitrovic’s 50th strike in the last meeting. Rovers meanwhile were held to a goalless draw in January on their way to automatic promotion from League One last season.

A slight bit of intrigue for fans of Rovers is that they could line up against their former striker Jonson Clarke-Harris, who excelled since leaving the Memorial Stadium.

Any upsets in Round Two?

Rovers would have been underdogs on Saturday despite the stature, given that the London side had been sixth in League Two leading into the game.

Let’s look at if there were any upsets elsewhere.

2008 FA Cup winners Portsmouth were defeated 2-1 by Harrogate Town, whilst Gary Bowyer's Salford City lost to non-league Chesterfield in the FA Cup, with the pressure on after a poor start to the season.
