Nottingham Forest v Bristol City injury news - 15 out and three doubts

Latest injury and team news ahead of the FA Cup tie between Nottingham Forest and Bristol City - including updates on Callum Hudson-Odoi and Matty James.

Nottingham Forest and Bristol City meet at the City Ground in an FA Cup fourth round replay.

Neither side could find a breakthrough a fortnight ago at Ashton Gate and so the two sides will meet once again but this time in Nottinghamshire. Neither Forest or City have won a tie in the 2023/24 season and required two games to beat Blackpool and West Ham respectively.

A big prize lies in store for the victor of the tie with a home match against Manchester United on Wednesday, February 28 pencilled in. Forest have already beaten Man United in the Premier League this season whilst the Robins defeated the Red Devils in the Carabao Cup a few seasons ago.

Since the goalless draw, both clubs have made signings but they will be unable to call upon them this evening. FA Cup rules do not allow players registered after the original tie to be played and so in Dire Mebude will have to wait until the weekend for City's Championship clash with Middlesbrough to be eligible to make his debut. As in the case of Gio Reyna, Matz Sels and Rodrigo Ribeiro they have already made their debuts but are ineligible tonight.

City lost 1-0 to Leeds United in their last match which came on Friday night. Forest played two days later and drew 1-1 with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday. Will that two day recovery help give City a slight edge over their opponents? It remains to be seen.

Both Liam Manning and Nuno Espirito Santo conducted pre-match press conferences and there's a few players that are slight doubts for tonight's clash. Here's the latest injury and team news ahead of tonight's match which is not being streamed in the United Kingdom.
