35 Championship players at risk of ban including Bristol City, Coventry City and Huddersfield Town men - gallery

Several Championship players are just one yellow card away from being handed a one-match suspension by the EFL.

Liam Manning takes charge of his first Bristol City home game on November 25 when Middlesbrough come to Ashton Gate. The former Oxford United boss has already managed at the Gate this season, but as an opposition manager.

Last season's play-off semi-finalists have had somewhat of a slow start, but Michael Carrick has managed to turn things around. The Boro are 10th and just two points off of the Championship play-offs. Bristol City are just one place behind Middlesbrough with two points separating them. Manning oversaw a goalless draw with strugglers QPR in his first game in charge but following an extended period with the players with no games because of the international break, he is able to get more of an understanding of the squad.

A busy period awaits Manning, and his players will get to know more about him like he will about them. One Robins player however is in risk of getting a one-game ban because of EFL rules. Players must avoid getting five yellow cards up before the 19th game of the season or otherwise get a one-game ban because of disciplinary rules. Bristol City have played 16 games so far and they'll have to get past Middlesbrough, Southampton and Norwich City.

Discipline is going to be key in the next few games, and we've already seen this squad be stretched to its limits because of an injury crisis. Should Cameron Pring avoid a booking in the next three games then he won't have to worry unless he gets 10 cards before the 38-game mark.

Flick through to see all the player that are on four bookings according to TransferMarkt, and could be banned for one match if they're booked in the next three matches.
