History has been made for Forest Green Rovers, as they will be playing League One football next season for the first time in their history after being promoted at Bristol Rovers.
Following a goalless draw at the Memorial Stadium, Forest Green Rovers are the first team in League Two who have secured an automatic promotion spot.
All eyes will be on tomorrow’s game between current second place Exeter City and Barrow, where a win for the Grecians will secure another one of the promotion spots.
Northampton Town managed to move up to third place over the weekend after a 4-2 away win versus Leyton Orient, overtaking Port Vale, who dropped points at Walsall.
There isn’t much to separate the sides vying for automatic promotion but Mansfield, who haven’t been talked about as much, can enter the mix as they still posses a game in hand.
And even though the automatics remain the aim for Rovers, they still have to secure a play-off spot with their fate still not decided yet.
Sutton United are the team with the final spot but there are Salford City and Tranmere Rovers to contend with, whilst Swindon Town and Newport County still have a slim chance of competing in them.
With still it all to play for in League Two and with teams having a further game to play, the promotion picture can drastically change based on a set of results.
Below are the remaining fixtures for the team based in 11th all the way to first, with the title, automatic and play-off picture still yet to be finalised.
