Bristol Rovers, Port Vale and Mansfield Town latest chances of promotion - according to stats experts

There are just two rounds of League Two fixtures remaining in the regular season and ten teams still have something to play for at the top end of the league table.

Bristol Rovers’ promotion rivals were in action yesterday with Exeter City, Mansfield Town, Swindon Town and Sutton United all picking up key victories from their games in hand over Joey Barton’s side.

All 24 clubs in the division have now played the same number of games and there are just two matchdays remaining - with the top ten teams in the current table all still competing for either the play-offs or automatic promotion!

Forest Green Rovers and Exeter City have both secured their spots in League One next season but the title is still up for grabs while Rovers are amongst the eight teams below battling to finish behind them.

They are joined by Northampton Town, Port Vale, Mansfield Town, Sutton United, Swindon Town, Salford City and Tranmere Rovers.
