Where Bristol Rovers, Bradford City and Northampton fans rank amongst League Two’s home crowds

Bristol Rovers come out well in the average League Two home attendances, along with some other big hitters

Home advantage can make all the difference and that is ever true in League Two where fans have jumped at the chance to watch their team again.

After almost two years of not being able to watch their team, supporters have flocked through the turnstiles both home and away to support their team.

Now at the business end of the season, with some teams having fewer just 10 games left in their campaign, home support can play a key part in achieving their goals.

Teams at the bottom of the league need all the fans they can get to urge their team on but sometimes that can also affect them with discontent around the place.

Whilst there are clubs like Bradford City where whatever position they are in, they tend to back their team, as one of the bigger supporter bases of the fourth tier.

Bristol Rovers are another team with a big following, with their first-team manager Joey Barton most recently saying that they’d sell out 40,000 tickets if they were to reach the play-off final at Wembley Stadium.

There is of course the odd exception too, such as Forest Green Rovers who are runaway leaders of the division, but don’t possess the biggest of fan bases to match their on the field position.

Either way, League Two is a great division to be in if you’re a supporter, as there’s a real authenticity to it, where it’s still professional football but its still a million miles away from the glitz and glamour of the Premier League.

Below are the average attendances so far of the season with the figures definitely set to increase with the games coming quick and fast. Let us know what you think of them.
