Bristol Rovers have been busy in the summer transfer window and have signed four players so far.
The Gas have signed James Wilson, Luke Thomas, Jevani Brown, and George Friend, all on free transfers. All are hoping to extra bit of quality to the squad and Wilson especially after winning the League One title last year, fills in a position that needed addressing.
Jevani Brown’s arrival sees him bring 21 goal contributions to the Mem, and for the first part of last season, he was toe-to-toe with Aaron Collins. Luke Thomas returning meanwhile perhaps sees an upgrade on Harry Anderson who left for Stevenage, whilst George Friend is an experienced option to have at left-back.
Rovers are expected to do more business but for the time being things have gone quiet. Bristol Post say Rovers remain interested in Connor Taylor, but Plymouth Argyle have entered the race.
Quite a few names have been linked with a move to the Memorial Stadium, and some of them will play at the ground this season, but instead for the opposition. Transfer speculation is rife when there are no matches on, and pre-season offers the opportunity to see some new faces.
Bristol Rovers fans have already tried to work out the identity of a mystery player out on their tour in Portugal, meanwhile one Austrian goalkeeper following the club, Joey Barton and owner Wael al-Qadi, meant that fans were convinced he was on his way.
Here, we take a look at the 14 players the Gas have been linked with during the summer window and what happened to the deals:
