Ten key away days for Bristol Rovers fans to mark in their calendar ahead of the 2022/23 season

The Gas know where they’ll be from late July to early May with all 46 fixtures being released by the English Football League yesterday

Bristol Rovers fans can start planning for the season after the release of the fixtures ahead of the 2022/23 League One season.

The Gas are back in the third tier at the first time of asking, bouncing back from relegation without fans to celebrate promotion in the most dramatic of circumstances.

For the first time since 2015, the Gas are opening the season in front of their home supporters, welcoming a familiar foe in Forest Green Rovers, who won the League Title last season.

In between their second and third league games of the season, they have a Carabao Cup match away at Crawley Town to look forward to as they hope to progress to the next stage of the competition for the first time since 2019.

The signings of Jordan Rossiter and James Gibbons this week have given fans more of a hope of the upcoming season with Joey Barton wanting his side to not just make up the numbers but to compete, despite there being some big hitters in the division.

Rovers possessed one of the better away followings last season with huge followings towards the end of last season with jubilant scenes at both Port Vale on Easter Monday and Rochdale in their penultimate fixture.

For the fans keen to support Rovers away from the Mem this season and check out other grounds, we’ve analysed the fixture list and picked out the best games on the road.
