Rovers were due to play Darren Moore’s men at 7.45 pm on Tuesday, October 25, but now it will be played a day later on Wednesday, October 26 with a new kick-off time at 8.00 pm.

Moving the clash to a Wednesday will make it the only fixture on that day with the rest of the leagues matchday 13 schedule being played out on the Tuesday.

Rovers are at home to Plymouth Argyle on the Saturday prior to facing Wednesday, whilst it will also leave them with a smaller amount of preparation for their trip to Derby County.

It will be 11 years and nine months since Rovers' last visit to Hillsborough, which resulted in a 6-2 loss to the Yorkshire men, despite Will Hoskins opening the lead for Paul Trollope's side.

Rovers do not possess the best record against the former Premier League outfit having not won a match against them since April 30, 1959.

All of Rovers’ midweek matches have been available to watch on the iFollow service with match day passes costing £9.99 to watch if fans have been unable to physically attend the match.

Fans subscribed to Sky Sports however will not have to pay any additional money to watch their team if they are unable to head to Sheffield however.
