BristolWorld predicts how Bristol Rovers will line up against Peterborough United

Bristol Rovers travel to play-off chasing Peterborough United - hoping to affect the outcome of the promotion race.

Rovers have suffered three consecutive defeats with two coming to Sheffield Wednesday and potential champions Plymouth Argyle, but can still impact who competes in the end of season playoffs. Darren Ferguson's side are currently seventh, and are two points off of Bolton Wanderers and Derby County who occupy fifth and sixth. Earlier in the season, Rovers won at the Memorial Stadium thanks to a Scott Sinclair goal, where Ronnie Edwards was sent off.

This weekends clash in Cambridgeshire will be an interesting one as Aaron Collins, crowned the League One Player of the Year, comes up against former Rovers striker and rival for the award, Jonson Clarke-Harris. Clarke-Harris leads the division for goals, having found the back of the net 25 times this season, which has put him on course for the Golden Boot award. He's got four assists this season which has him on 29 goal contributions, compared to Collins' 28 with 16 goals and 11 assists.

Rovers are safe from the drop, and have a further game to play in a rearranged fixture with Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday. It could see a rotated side in Shropshire, but for Saturday's clash we can expect as strong a team as possible, because Joey Barton respects the integrity of the competition, and has also challenged his players to perform better as they are auditioning for their places next season.

Here's how we think the Gas will line up at London Road against play-off chasing Peterborough on Saturday:
