Oxford are in the hunt for a new manager after parting company with Karl Robinson. According to the Northern Echo, Sunderland Under-21s manager Graeme Murty is a candidate for their vacant position. He has previously managed Scottish Premiership giants Rangers and has also coached at Norwich City in the past.

Charlton Athletic planning for the summer

Charlton Athletic are already making plans for the summer transfer window. They are currently one point behind Bristol Rovers in the league table but have a game in hand. Their boss Dean Holden has told London News Online: “We’d be looking at players for League One and potentially for if we went up to the Championship.

“Those plans are in place, we’re already ahead with that, in terms of looking at players. It’s obviously difficult to sign players until the summer because contracts don’t end until the end of June. But in terms of targets and how I want the team to look next season, we’re well on with that.”

Sheffield Wednesday look at trialist

Sheffield Wednesday are taking a look at youngster Declan Turner on trial, according to reporter Alan Nixon on his Patreon page. The defender is Australian but holds a British passport which would make any potential move easier.

The Owls are currently top of the third tier table and are edging closer to a return to the Championship. They come to the Memorial Ground to play Bristol Rovers on 18th April.
