Bristol Rovers will next play after Christmas with a trip to Adams Park to come on Boxing Day. The Gas will face Wycombe Wanderers, hoping to find some festive joy, in a busy period that will see them play three games between now and the New Year.
The conclusion of the clash with Cheltenham Town at the Memorial Stadium on the first day of 2023, will open up an opportunity. The January transfer window opens, and shuts on Tuesday, January 31.

Hide AdSpeculation has already begun about what players could arrive, with Rovers said to be interested in several players. A move for York City centre-back Maxim Kouogun had been spoken about, but nothing has come of that so far.
Myles Roberts, a goalkeeper from Championship promotion hopefuls Watford was also spoken about. He is on loan at National League South outfit Welling United, and a move for a goalkeeper seems unlikely given James Belshaw is a firm first choice and Anssi Jaakkola is a long servant of the club.
The form of Aaron Collins may attract suitors higher in the division, with Portsmouth attributed with interest last summer. He’s got 11 goals and seven assists this season, and is the most creative player in the Championship, League One and League Two.
Several out-of-favour players could be moved on also to be reinvested back in to the first-team squad. First-team manager Joey Barton does not envisage many signings, and earmarked three as the best number.
