Sheffield Wednesday will take a look at Blackburn Rovers attacker George Chmeil, according to reporter Alan Nixon on his Patreon. The 18-year-old, who is a Poland youth international, has risen up through the academy at Ewood Park but is facing an uncertain long-term future with the Championship side. He has scored three goals in 10 games for the U18s this season.

Derby County man to extend loan

Solihull Moors are poised to extend Derby County forward Bart Cybulski’s loan until the end of the season, as per a report by Derbyshire Live. The 20-year-old has been a hit with the National League side since joining them back in December and has scored three times in nine outings. He also had a spell away from Pride Park at Matlock Town last year to gain experience.

Charlton Athletic boss provides update

Charlton Athletic boss Dean Holden has said he is in ‘ongoing’ talks over his future at The Valley. The former Bristol City manager’s deal with the Addicks expires at the end of the season. He has provided an update on his future, as per London News Online: “Talks are ongoing with Thomas (Sandgaard) in terms of a new contract. There are a lot of discussions to be hand in terms of the club moving forward and what that looks like – how we operate day to day and the squad building in the summer. I’m in touch with Thomas. Hopefully, we can come to a conclusion.”
