Bristol Rovers clash against Port Vale this Saturday will kick-off at the usual 3pm with England kicking off at 7pm (GMT). Gareth Southgate’s side are in World Cup quarter-final action against France following their 3-0 win over Senegal on Sunday evening in the Round of 16.

The winners of tonight’s games between Portugal vs Switzerland and Morocco vs Spain will take place at the same time as the Pirates’ clash against the Valiants as ex-Gas boss Darrell Clarke returns to his former club in League One. The Three Lions then lock horns with Kylian Mbappe and co. in the evening as they look to progress further in Qatar.

Bristol Rovers have decided not to tinker with their kick-off time and will instead be showing the England clash live from the Memorial Ground a couple of hours after their match so fans will be able to stay and watch if they wish.

Joey Barton’s men go into this weekend on the back of their 1-1 draw away at Bolton Wanderers last Friday. They looked on their way to an impressive three points after Middlesbrough loan man Josh Coburn’s early goal. However, the Trotters equalised in added-on time through striker Dion Charles.

After the Port Vale fixture, the Gas take on MK Dons in the Third Round of the Papa John’s Trophy next Tuesday (13th December) which is the day before the World Cup semi-final if England get through. Looking further ahead, the final is on Saturday 18th and Bristol Rovers have Charlton Athletic at home the day before.
