Bristol Rovers enjoyed a successful campaign that saw them swiftly return to League One after finishing it dramatic style.

Joey Barton’s side pulled off aa shock 7-0 win over Scunthorpe United on the final day of the season to secure automatic promotion after they finished third in the fourth tier.

The Gas will be hoping for more success in League One this time round, having only managed to finish in the top half once in their previous five year stint.

Rovers will be joined by Forest Green Rovers, Port Vale and Exeter City making the step up to League One, while it is Rovers that are tipped to have the best season of the four.
