League Two is quite an interesting division, throwing up clubs with large fan bases whilst others come from small towns and are punching above its weight.
For some clubs, they are the only team from that town or city whilst for others, they are in competition with inter-city rivals, such as Bristol City and Bristol Rovers.
The Gas have travelled in their numbers over the course of the season including large followings to the likes of Port Vale and Rochdale, as they cheered Joey Barton’s side on.
League Two has come unforgiving away trips, including some lengthy away matches such as Scunthorpe United on a Tuesday night. Some hardly souls though will always do that journey with a true commitment to their club.
Below is the League Two table based on the average number of fans each club takes to an away match according to ’The Lower Tiers’.
