How the 24 League One club ranks when it comes to away followings

Football supporters will be travelling up and down the country to back their teams over this weekend, as they show their commitment to their clubs.

League One has some big clubs, who have struggled to get out of the division over the last few seasons. It's a division that is unforgiving and you only have to see Sunderland's story, where they were trapped in the third tier for several years before finally bouncing back last season. It's an interesting league because there are massive clubs like Sheffield Wednesday, who come from a two-club city, and then you compare them to someone like Cheltenham Town or Exeter City who have local rivals nearby but are one-club towns and cities.

Bristol Rovers are a club that have a reasonable level of support, and they regularly pack out the Memorial Stadium, with plans to extend the ground they've called home for more than 20 years. The Gas also travel well, which is surprising given there are some tricky grounds to get to in England, but the supporters want to back Joey Barton's side as they try and secure safety at the first time of asking this season.

Supporting your club, especially away from home, but some supporters live by their football club and you have to applaud them for the sacrifices they make to make sure they're in the ground almost every Saturday at 3.00 pm. Here we take a look at how the League One table would look if based on average away attendances. All information comes from Football League website The 72, who have done it for all three divisions.
