Cheltenham Town v Bristol Rovers team news: Three ruled out & six doubts for League One clash

The Gas head to Gloucestershire to face relegation candidates Cheltenham on Saturday afternoon.

Bristol Rovers travel to relegation threatened Cheltenham Town this weekend, as the Gas look to end their seven game goal drought and winless run.

Former Rovers boss and legend, Darrell Clarke is at the helm of the Gloucestershire side, who are fighting for their lives in the drop zone.

The Gas haven’t scored a goal in over 700 minutes of League One football and Taylor will be hoping that his team can finally break their curse when the two sides meet this weekend.

Both teams are desperate for points, particularly Saturday's hosts, who are two points from safety, with five games to go until the end of the League One campaign.

The Robins have been rejuvenated under their new manager Clarke, who inherited a squad of players who failed to score a goal in their first 11 games of the League One season. However, it has been tricky for Cheltenham recently, as they have won just one out of their last 10 matches.

Rovers players may well feel delighted that they are playing away from home this weekend, as the Mem was rather toxic both at half-time and full-time, when boors jeered around the stadium after Tuesday night’s 2-0 defeat to Reading.

Saturday’s visit to Gloucestershire is certainly an opportunity for Rovers to finally pick up some much needed points, where they face a Cheltenham side that is shot of confidence themselves.

Here is the team news for both sides ahead of Saturday’s League One encounter at the Completely Suzuki Stadium.
