Bristol Rovers have been one of the busiest teams in League One when it comes to transfer activity.

Joey Barton has changed his approach this summer, and has recruited several experienced players, who have either won the league title or the play-offs. The Gas' aim is promotion this season despite an indifferent start, and the 40-year-old has admitted he's never been so confident about a football team and their progressions.

A total of 12 signings have been made this summer, and there could be one more ahead of Friday's transfer deadline. A total of 10 players have departed either permanently or on loan, and so the business stacks up well when compared.

Rovers have exchanged a transfer fee for one player, and that is Connor Taylor who returned on a three-year deal from Stoke City. No fee was disclosed to the public, but it is expected to be a six-figure one, and so Rovers have spent more than they’ve brought in with no player sales to date.
