Hide AdRovers submitted a 19-man squad list to the EFL last week which allows for three more players to join from now until the January transfer window.
A former teammate of Joey Barton has now emerged as a potential transfer target as Rovers look to add more players to their attack.
A report from Sports World Ghana says that Rovers are ‘closing in on Dodoo’ and that the manager is ‘bent on signing him’. It also adds that ‘talks will begin soon’ over a possible move to the Memorial Stadium.
The Ghanian is predominantly a left-sided winger but can also play on the right as well as a centre forward, which is an area that requires more depth after missing out on targets on transfer deadline day.

Dodoo scored eight times in 27 appearances across all competitions last year but could not stop the Yorkshire club from being relegated.
Dodoo played five games with Barton during their time together in the Scottish Premiership at Rangers, but the latter later returned to Burnley.
In total, in his career, he has scored 49 goals and assisted on 20 occasions, with his best form being in League One with the likes of Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.
