Bristol Rovers head to in-form Wigan Athletic in League One on Saturday afternoon.
Shaun Maloney’s side have lost just once in their seven matches, beating Blackpool, Lincoln City and Portsmouth in the process.
The Gas aren’t in quite the same form, as they have won just twice in their last 11 matches. However, these two victories have come in their last three games.
The two sides met at the Memorial Stadium back in September, where Rovers breezed past the Lancashire side winning by four goals to one.
The Latics have had a difficult season and the former Premier League side couldn't have got off to a worser start, as they received an eight-point deduction by the EFL before they even kicked a ball.
Saturday’s opponents sit in 13th in the League One table and a win for the Gas would leapfrog Maloney’s men.
The last time Rovers visited the DW the points were shared as the two sides drew 0-0 back in November of 2020.
Saturday will prove to be a tough test for Matt Taylor’s side as they battle key injuries and suspensions.
Many players could well be playing their final game for the Gas and therefore the 42-year-old will want those individuals, as well as the rest of the team, to put on a proud performance for the travelling Gasheads.
We have attempted to predicted how Rovers will line-up this weekend, with changes enforced due to injury.
Predicted XI:

5. LB: Harvey Vale
Another loanee who has been a brilliant performer in a Rovers shirt. I think there are no secrets that Taylor would love to have Vale back next season, even if it was another loan spell. | Getty Images Photo: Pete Norton

6. DM: Kamil Conteh
The former Grimsby man has been given a bit of a rest in the last few weeks to accommodate the return of Jordan Rossiter. However, I expect Conteh to return to the starting line-up on Saturday. | Getty

7. DM: Jordan Rossiter
I think Taylor may well opt for both Rossiter and Conteh as a midfield duo. Wigan have beaten the likes of Portsmouth and Lincoln in recent matches and I think these two will bring Rovers the best available screen for their backline, in what is going to be a tough test on the weekend. | Getty Images

8. RW: Luke Thomas
One of Rovers' standout performers in an attacking sense this season. Thomas has that injection of pace that defenders hate and I think he will certainly start on the weekend. | Getty
