Bristol Rovers predicted XI v Norwich City in FA Cup third-round replay as key defender a doubt - gallery

Bristol Rovers take on Championship outfit Norwich City at the Memorial Stadium this evening in their FA Cup third-round replay.

Bristol Rovers host Norwich City at the Memorial Stadium this evening in what will be their biggest match since their days in League Two.

The winner of tonight's FA Cup third-round replay will make the trip to Anfield at the end of the month to face Premier League giants, Liverpool in the fourth-round. The Gas haven't reached round four in this competition since 2008, but they will have to brush aside a team from the Championship if they are to do so.

Matt Taylor's side went toe-to-toe with the Canaries in the initial fixture, with the encounter ending 1-1, thanks to a brilliant finish by Grant Ward, who levelled proceedings. The Mem faithful will hope that Rovers' brilliant home form can continue, as almost four months have passed since the Pirates saw defeat in BS7.

Tonight most certainly won't be a straight forward task as the visitors are a former Premier League side, who have bags of quality, with ambitions for play-off promotion this term.

Taylor doesn't like to tinker with his starting line-up too much, but with injuries and a player cup-tied, the 41-year-old will have some thinking to do ahead of tonight's enormous cup tie.

Here is how we think the Gas could line-up tonight (3-4-1-2):
