Bristol Rovers kept their best players - so much are they worth on Football Manager 2023?

Bristol Rovers' squad all is locked in for the remainder of the 2022/23 League One season after the Januaury transfer window shut.

The Gas utilised the window last year to help spearhead their promotion push out of League Two, and after a solid start to the season in a new division, there was a hope that this window could help them secure back-to-back promotions. Barton doesn't want to stand still and with just nine points separating them and sixth-placed Barnsley, getting a play-off spot isn't out of the realms of possibility.

A month in which only one win was recorded however, and perhaps a window that perhaps could have been more, has Rovers fans wondering if they're capable of maintaining their push. The squad was described as top-six in attack but in defence, was a side likened to relegation given how many goals they have shipped. Ellery Balcombe and Jarell Quansah have arrived on loan from Brentford and Liverpool, but they had a debut to regret after conceding five goals to Morecambe last week.

Rovers' deadline day looked like it may have been busy with Barton wanting to sign players as well as move them on, but no one departed the Memorial Stadium and instead, there were two signings to at least fill the squad for the remainder of the campaign. Lamare Bogarde, who played for that youthful Aston Villa team against Liverpool in the FA Cup in the COVID-19 era, joined, as well as Callum Macdonald, who was on the bench of Stockport County on the evening of his move to the West Country.

In total, five players joined Rovers this window, and five left, with four leaving either on loan or permanently, whilst Bobby Thomas' loan came to an end and he was later loaned out to Barnsley. The squad looks slightly different to what it was before the window, and so the valuation of the squad has changed slightly. Here we use popular simulator Football Manager to see how much the squad is worth now the window is shut.
