The 29-year-old was on the score sheet on the weekend for the Posh as they drew 1-1 with Bolton Wanderers. He has scored two goals and got an assist since his move to the Memorial Stadium didn't materialise.
Peterborough had signed Jacob Wakeling and Malik Mothersille in anticipation of Clarke-Harris departure but now the pair are competing with the Leicester-born forward for a place in their starting 11.
"I’m a simple man," said Clarke-Harris to the Peterborough Telegraph as he opened up on how he has responded since the move didn't hppen.
"I just get my head down and play games.

Clarke-Harris now faces a reunion of a different kind when he faces his former club - and at one-time potential new club - Bristol Rovers this weekend (Saturday, September 30).
Peterborough host Joey Barton's men in a League One clash, which for sure will have some interest to it given the failed transfer.
As a result of Clarke-Harris’ failed transfer, Rovers last week took former Derby County, Fulham and Norwich City striker Chris Martin on trial. The 34-year-old left QPR this summer after joining them from Rovers inter-city rivals Bristol City.
