Bristol Rovers are on their travels again as they face Peterborough United at London Road in their latest League One clash.

The Gas are limited by what they can get at home at the moment, after dealing with several issues with their plans for the South Stand. The attendance has been limited, but Rovers are still coming out to the Memorial Stadium in their numbers.

As for their away games, in the opening month, they faced the likes of Portsmouth, Charlton Athletic and Cambridge United, and then into September, they won on their travels against Shrewsbury Town.

Last season, Rovers boasted the ninth best away support in the league and had an average away attendance of just under a 1,000 a game (975). It came as no surprise but Sheffield Wednesday took top spot, and not far behind them was Derby County who have another year in this league.

This season, there’s still some big clubs knocking about in the division, with Reading, Wigan Athletic and Blackpool relegated. Some clubs have it easier than other when it comes to their geographical location, which makes travelling to and from all that more convinient, but nevertheless there are some clubs that travel the length and breadth of England and still come out with tremendous away support.
