It ended up being a busy day across League One before the deadline. Here is a look at some of the latest news and rumours from around the division...

Bolton Wanderers defender on future

Bolton Wanderers defender Adam Senior has admitted he is not thinking too much about his future with the Trotters. He is out of contract in the summer and is currently on loan at FC Halifax Town in the National League.

The 21-year-old has told the Halifax Courier: “I haven’t thought about it to be honest, that’s football. I just try not to think about it and with me being on loan at Halifax now, I’m just trying to get on with playing my football. I know they watch all my games and they speak to me every week.”

Derby County transfer ruled out

Derby County boss Paul Warne has ruled out a move for striker Chris Martin, who is available after leaving Bristol City. The experienced forward has played for the Rams in the past and is weighing up his options.

However, he won’t be heading back to Pride Park anytime soon. Warne has said, as per Derbyshire Live: “There’s no contact from me or the club, or anything like that. There is no intention, respectfully from me, to sign him. I play with a high press at the front of the pitch and I’d look a bit of an idiot if I signed a non-pressing centre forward in truth.

“I don’t know if he ever did press, but he’s a target man and a great finisher. But you pick players who suit your system, not the other way around.”

Forest Green Rovers pair depart

Forest Green have loaned out Harvey Bunker and Jacob Jones to Scunthorpe United and King’s Lynn Town respectively. Duncan Ferguson’s side will be hoping they can both get plenty of game time in non-league between now and the end of the campaign.
