Bristol Rovers are currently 15th in League One and have picked up 25 points from their opening 20 games. The Gas are six points off the play-offs and could make a push for the top six if they can string a set of results together.

Joey Barton’s side were promoted from League Two last term and have adapted well to the step up a division. They have the chance to bolster their ranks in the upcoming January transfer window and it is a possibility that we could see both incomings and outgoings from the Memorial Ground.

The Pirates have decisions to make on players who are out of contract at the end of this campaign and also have a few individuals who are struggling for game time and could do with getting some minutes elsewhere on loan.

Here is a look at 10 players who could leave Bristol Rovers this winter...

Kofi Shaw

According to reporter Alan Nixon on Patreon, Premier League clubs are interested in the teenager. He is being tipped for a bright future in the game.

Harvey Saunders

The former Fleetwood Town striker is out of contract next summer and is due to become a free agent as things stand. He has struggled for goals in this campaign and a departure isn’t beyond the realms of possibility.

The centre-back sees his deal expire in June 2023 and isn’t a guaranteed starter anymore. He has made eight league appearances so far but the club need to decide what to do with him in the long run.

Jamie Egan

The 19-year-old isn’t in the first-team picture at the moment. A loan exit this winter would enable him to get some more experience under his belt to boost his development.

Aaron Collins

He has scored 10 goals already this season so it is inevitable that transfer speculation will arise. The attacker managed 16 in all competitions last term.

Tyron Mbuenimo

He had a spell in non-league at Yate Town and is a potential candidate to head out the exit door on a temporary basis again. The defender has been with the third tier side since 2020 hacing previously been on the books at Tottenham Hotspur.

Scott Sinclair

The Gas will be keen to keep hold of him after his impressive recent form. However, the reality is his future isn’t certain until he puts pen-to-paper on a contract extenstion.

Niall Lovelock

He is another who would benefit from a loan exit somewhere. The former Bath City man made his senior debut against Chelsea U21s in the Papa John’s Trophy last season.

Max Edwards-Stryjewski

The Wales youth international is still only 17-years-old but has already got a taste of men’s football. He made his debut earlier this year in an FA Cup clash against Peterborough United.
