With Bristol City currently sat 12 points below the playoff spots, it looks extremely likely that they are set for their ninth consecutive season in the Championship. The Robins have spent all but two years of the previous 15 seasons in the second tier, with a brief spell in League One in between.

City have unsurprisingly racked up one of the highest total matches in the second division - including games before the Championship was founded in 2004.
