Where Bristol City rank in attendance table gallery vs Sunderland, Boro, Birmingham and rivals
Bristol City are one of the Championship’s biggest clubs - but where do they fall on the attendances table?
It’s always been a bragging point in football - teams take immense pride in the amount of supporters that turn up week in, week out to see them play. But how many people visit Ashton Gate on average this season?
Using WorldFootball for reference, we’ve been able to rank the average attendance of every Championship club against one another. Bristol City find themselves in the top ten - however, against big clubs such as Sunderland, Watford and Norwich, they have some very stiff competition.
Ashton Gate has the tenth largest capacity of any other stadium in the league, with 27,000 seats in total. Does this align with the Robins’ average attendance this season?
For this list, we’ll only be looking at home attendances - away figures will not be factored in. Additionally, we can only use official numbers provided by the repsective clubs - they may not be 100% accurate.
