Bristol City welcome Hull City to Ashton Gate on Saturday for their final home game of the 21/22 season.

The Robins come into this match up with some decent form, after being unbeaten in their last four matches, and winning consecutive away matches versus Stoke City and Derby County.

City will be hoping that they can bring their form into the match on Saturday, so that Robins’ fans can leave Ashton Gate happy for the last time this season.

Hull will be keen to go above the hosts, as Bristol City currently sit in 17th position on 52 points and the Tigers lie in 18th, two points behind their opposition. A win for Hull would see them move above them.

The Tigers are also on sound form, as they have won their last three games from four, picking up nine points out of a possible 12. In Hull’s ast outing they managed to pick up a 3 - 0 win versus Reading, 21-year-old Keane Lewis-Potter bagged himself a brace.

When does the match start?

The game will kick-off at 15.00 GMT at Ashton Gate Stadium, in Bristol.

Scott is also set to play a part after coming off in the first half of last week with a face injury.

Out-of-contract wing-back Callum O’Dowda is fully fit but faces a tough competition to get back in as does Cameron Pring.

Forward Keane Lewis-Potter is definitely someone the Robins will hope to keep quiet in this affair. The 21 year-old has scored 11 goals this season for the tigers this season, as well as earning three assists.

Attacking midfielder George Honeyman has also been crucial for Hull City this season and has collected five goals and four assists across this campaign.

Form guide and head-to-head

The last time these two sides faced each other was back in December, where a score draw ended 2-2 at the MKM Stadium.

The Tigers haven’t managed a win against Bristol City in the league for over six years, with them being last victorious back in April 2016.

Over the 89 times these two teams have met, there’s been 25 draws, 28 wins for the tigers and 36 wins for the Robins.

City are unbeaten in seven league games against Hull and have not lost to them since April 2016, holding four wins and three draws over the Humberside club.

Hull haven’t had the happiest of visits to Bristol either as they’ve won just one of their last 23 here, drawing six and losing 16, with a 2-1 win in October 2012 their last success. Their last clean sheet was back in September 1959, earning a 1-0 win.

With it being their final home fixture City will want to see out the season with a win, as their last three victories have come at home, having previously won seven straight times at their home ground.
