Bristol City return to competitive action this weekend as the Championship season begins.
The Robins will be eyeing an improved campaign after a disappointing season of last, slumping to a bottom half finish.

Nigel Pearson will have much better in mind heading into the new season, though comeptition is as tough as ever in the second tier.
First up, City will face a Hull City side who finished just two positions lower in the table last season.

Allahyar Sayyadmanesh
Sayyadmanesh was Hull’s marquee signing this summer, arriving on a fee believed to be in the region of £4million from Fenerbahce.

The striker impressed with Zorya Lugansk on loan last season, scoring eight and assisting four across 22 appearances in regular competition.
He then joined Hull for a short-term loan deal, scoring once in 12 appearances, against Cardiff City.
Jean Michael Seri

Seri arrived on a free transfer this summer and he arrives with pedigree.
The midfielder is a 42-time Ivory Coast international who has been with Fulham since 2018, making 65 league appearances, including 32 outings in their 2018/19 Premier League campaign.
Seri has spent the last two seasons out on loan, with Bordeaux and Galatasaray respectively.
He is a quick, box-to-box midfielder capable of disrupting play defensively and providing plenty of support at the top end of the pitch.

Ryan Longman
Hull lost their two leading scorers coming into this season, but wide man Ryan Longman was among the highest scorers.
Longman netted four times during a loan spell from Brighton, and he has since joined on a permanent deal.
He also registered four assists last season and will be one to look out for heading into this season, still only 21 years of age.
