Masters Football is to make a return after an 11-year absence and Bristol City fans have a right to be excited.
It was a five-a-side tournament where players over the age of 35 would represent the clubs they did during their playing careers.
Sports documentary website 360 Sports TV have gained the rights and after bringing back old highlights to Amazon Prime, they now have relaunched it.
City won the Western Conference in their only appearance back in 2008 and you can see The Bristol City team that represented the Robins in the last edition of Masters Football.
How a player qualifies is that they would have played at least one game during their senior career for the club and that they couldn’t represent two teams. It means that the Robins will need to get in fast if they want to claim their players, which is why the likes of Lee Trundle aren’t included as he’d likely choose to represent Swansea City.
Here’s the Bristol City line up we’d like to see when Masters Football returns in its full form next year. Tell us what you think of the side and if anyone has missed out!
