The Robins snapped up young French forward Fally Mayulu for an undisclosed fee from Rapid Wien as boss Liam Manning got his recruitment drive up and running.
The 21-year-old has signed a four-year deal at Ashton Gate and told the club website: ‘It feels very good. I have waited for this moment and it’s a good achievement for me so I’m very happy.
‘I know that this is a good club with a good history, and I’ve also heard good things about the city and the fans. I think this is the right place to be.
‘I just want to give everything for the club. I want to give back to the fans and to the team. I will give everything and we’re going to see.’
No doubt, City will be keen to do more business before their opening day of the season game at Hull on August 10. But how does their current business compare to their Championship rivals? Here’s all the deals that have been completed by second-tier clubs this summer.
