The Robins snapped up young French forward Fally Mayulu for an undisclosed fee from Rapid Wien as boss Liam Manning got his recruitment drive up and running.
The 21-year-old has signed a four-year deal at Ashton Gate and told the club website: ‘It feels very good. I have waited for this moment and it’s a good achievement for me so I’m very happy.
‘I know that this is a good club with a good history, and I’ve also heard good things about the city and the fans. I think this is the right place to be.
‘I just want to give everything for the club. I want to give back to the fans and to the team. I will give everything and we’re going to see.’
