Pep Guardiola’s praise for ‘amazing’ Bristol City fans as Man City win cup clash
The Premier League title challengers took an early lead through Phil Foden but the Robins never let their heads drop and after having a few half chances of their own, it took Man City until the 75th minute before they put the game to bed, when Foden scored a second.
Kevin De Bruyne added a third five minutes later to give the scoreline a flattering gloss and Guardiola knew his team had been in a match in ffront of a very vocal Bristol City support.

“Everywhere, especially in this country, with the environment [it is difficult],” he added on ITV. “I remember five years ago when we came here in the semi-final for our first title, our first Carabao Cup and the environment was amazing. I remember that perfectly. So, yes, good result, terrific atmosphere and noise and away, wherever you play, is difficult and we behave as we are.”
