Latest injury and team nes ahead of Leeds United v Bristol City in the EFL Championship clash at Elland Road.

Bristol City travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United in their latest EFL Championship clash.

The Robins left it late but were victorious as they beat struggling Rotherham United 2-1 at the New York Stadium. Tommy Conway continued his return from a hamstring injury by scoring a brace - and was quick-thinking in his finish to score in the fifth minute of additional time.

Leeds United also played on Wednesday night, and won their game fairly early on thanks to Crysenico Summerville's ninth minute effort. Asmir Begovic was sent off for QPR, but that was in stoppage time however there is some controversy because Patrick Bamford hit the deck after a coming together, though some believe he could have deceived the officials.

A point and five places separates the two sides ahead of kick-off. Leeds are sixth and occupy the final play-off spot on 16 points, whilst City have 15 points, and are currently 11th. A win coupled with results going in their favour could see Bristol City enter the second international break of the season in the play-off spots.

Given the short turn-around between games, both managers could freshen things up and make changes. Daniel Farke and Nigel Pearson both have long-term absentees who are continuing their recovery and won’t come in to contention. Several players are nursing some knocks and niggles, and they have become doubts for Saturday’s clash.
