THE Championship fixtures for the 2022-23 season have been unveiled - so how are Bristol City expected to fare this time around?

Nigel Pearson's side in his first full season in charge finished in 17th after trimming the wage bill with some key departures whilst integrating youth players into the side.

For the first time since 2015, Bristol City will begin their season on the road with a trip to Humberside to face one of Pearson’s former clubs Hull City.

August could be a busy month with eight potential fixtures whilst there are at six fixtures confirmed, including a Severnside Derby against Cardiff City at Ashton Gate.

The start is favourable, facing two of the recently promoted teams in Sunderland and Wigan Athletic, whilst Blackpool, who recently appointed Michael Appleton finished lowly last year.
