Bristol City's Championship campaign resumes when they host injury-hit Reading at Ashton Gate on Saturday.
The Robins players have returned back from international duty, mainly fit other than Alex Scott, who has been ruled out against the Royals. Scott has missed just one league match this season and that was through suspension but a knee injury suffered on Monday means he'll be unavailable for selection.
It's not all bad news however as Nigel Pearson is able to call upon Matty James and Tommy Conway again after they recovered from their respective injuries. James suffered an ankle problem at the start of March, whilst Conway has been out since early January with a hamstring tendon problem.
Unfortunately Kal Naismith will miss out for one more game, as will Tomas Kalas, but the injury situation is at least getting better. Injuries have given opportunities to those who may not have expected it, and one player who has taken his chance is Omar Taylor-Clarke. Numerous debuts have been given by Pearson, and his run in the side could be extended this weekend.
It's likely to be too much of an ask to get into the play-offs, whilst they're in no danger of being dragged into a relegation battle, so this is the time to be experimenting with tactics. Scott's absence through injury as well as Mark Sykes' red card means that we we could see Andi Weimann given a rare start, as despite being named club captain by his peers, he is not guaranteed a starting berth.
