Every former Bristol City player set to be a free agent this summer

The full list of former Bristol City players out of contract - with some more popular than others.

Bristol City in recent years aren't really a club that have signed a player following a first spell. It's been a case of looking forward and trying to develop players that have come through their academy and make themselves heroes in the red and white.

Fans can reminisce about the good old days, and hold on to their memories of what they did during their first taste of Ashton Gate, and that can sometimes lead to supporters wanting them to come back. For other players, there's always a complaint that perhaps they didn't hit their heights during their time at the club, and they have since gone on to better things in spite of their bad period in the West Country.

One name that has been spoken about recently is Joe Bryan, who looks set to make a sensational return to the club. He's a free agent this summer with his Fulham contract running down, and given he's on loan at Nice and not playing much, it's unlikely it will be extended, which will pave the way for his return to his hometown team. Fans are excited by the prospect of one of City's best players they've created, joining the club at a time where there is a youthful revolution.

Here's the full list of former Robins men who are out of contract this summer. Some are more memorable than others, and could come under consideration when considering signings for the summer. Nigel Pearson and his technical director Brian Tinnion will have their own thoughts on who to sign in the coming months, but are there any names in particular you think are worth going for?
