The EFL Championship over the years has almost become a second division of the Premier League given the quality of the players playing at that level.
After the January transfer window shut, some teams had got the cheque book out to strengthen their side including Bournemouth, who brought in no more than five players, all of high quality and experience at this level. Fulham, already looking strong brought in more quality too.
It’s not only goals that bring value to a team, there can also be a reliable defender who racks up a good amount of clean sheets or perhaps a midfielder who has an inane number of assists. Value can also be determined on a players age and potential too.
