For away matches however it is a different story with City just outside the relegation zone if there were to be a table on followings to matches played away from their own ground.
From the four away matches this season, an average of 816 has been recorded, making them one of the seven teams to not reach four figures.
There are factors to consider however with plenty of their matches being played far away from base with a cost of living crisis to contend with, whilst petrol prices were high for a period for those who travel to games on the road.

For the month of August and early September, they had three trips to Lancashire; Wigan Athletic, Blackpool and Blackburn Rovers, which are expensive.
When football resumes next week, they face another two long journeys with Norwich City at Carrow Road on Wednesday evening whilst their new home-from-home Lancashire is the second trip after Norwich with City scheduled to play Burnley.
Sunderland and Burnley, who came into the league through a promotion from League One and relegation from the Premier League boast the best away support in the league by a good few hundred compared to other teams.
