After signing the likes of Hayden Roberts and Ross McCrorie, Bristol City are already enjoying the summer transfer window and will be looking forward to getting stuck back into Championship action once the new season kicks off.

As well as their new recruits, the Robins are prepared to offload some players. The interest around Alex Scott has commanded a lot of the attention so far but there is still plenty of other links to keep an eye on. Here is a look at some of the latest updates for Bristol City and their rivals.

Alex Scott isn’t the only Bristol City man receiving a lot of interest this summer. Massengo is available to move on as a free agent at the end of this month after opting not to extend his current contract. According to Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder has attracted some buzz after his loan spell with Auxerre this past season.

Burnley are in the running to sign Massengo this window but AS Monaco and SC Freiburg have also registered their interest and have asked for further details on a potential deal.

Chelsea man receiving plenty of Championship attention

Another update from Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea youth player Cesare Casadei has already received three loan requests from the Championship. The 20-year-old midfielder spent the second half of the season on loan with Reading to gain valuable first team experience, and now others are interested in bringing him in this summer.

Millwall launch bid for Championship team captain

Millwall have reportedly tabled an offer for the captain of one of their closest Championship rivals. According to Alan Nixon on Patreon (via Football League World), the Liones have ‘launched a low bid’ for Blackburn Rovers skipper Lewis Travis, who has three years left on his current deal.

Nixon believes a higher amount could follow Millwall’s initial bid and Rovers may be tempted into selling if the price is right. Gary Rowett will be looking to strengthen his midfield this summer, especially with former loanee Jamie Shackleton returning to Leeds following the end of his deal.
