Bristol City's €47.03m squad transfer value compared to Plymouth, Swansea and rivals

The summer transfer window has shut and here is how the Championship squads stack up in terms of value.

Bristol City's summer transfer window saw them do some terrific business as they recruited their primary targets.

Scott Twine was a player Liam Manning and the Robins wanted to reunite with, and they were able to get him. He re-joined City for a fee of around £3.2m, penning a four-year contract at Ashton Gate. Bristol City were also able to sign Twine's Clarets teammate Luke McNally, who joined for a fee in the region of £1.75m on deadline day.

Other bits of business included the arrival of Fally Mayulu who looks to be an astut signing, whilst Sinclair Armstrong and Marcus McGuane have also signed up to what Manning is trying to do at City.

The only real notable departures was the sale of Tommy Conway to Middlesbrough for around £5m, whilst Andy King retired, and both Andi Weimann and Matty James were both allowed to depart on a free transfer.

Bristol City have always prided themselves as a club that have been able to navigate well in the transfer market by selling players they’ve either developed within their academy or from another club for a considerable fee.

As ever, popular website TransferMarkt details how much each of the 24 squads in the Championship are worth, and now we can see how City stacks up to the rest of the division. The figures are in euros, as that is their default currency - and it starts from lowest to highest.
