West Brom boss Carlos Corberan is in the frame for the vacant Leeds United job, as per The Guardian. The Spaniard, who got Huddersfield Town in the play-offs last season, has been a hit since joining the Baggies back in October but they will be sweating over his future now. He worked at Elland Road during Marcelo Bielsa’s time with the Yorkshire club.
Hull City open to goalkeeper move
In-form Hull City are open to making goalkeeper Karl Darlow’s move from Newcastle United permanent in the summer. The experienced stopper has joined the Tigers on a loan deal until the end of the season. Their boss Liam Rosenior, who played for Bristol City during his playing days, has told Hull Live: “He’s at a fantastic age, he’s got plenty of experience and plenty of room to improve for him, and he’s someone that if he does really well here, we can reassess his situation in the summer.”
Luton Town plan to keep stopper
Luton Town don’t plan to loan out goalkeeper James Shea. He has been out with a knee injury since last year but is poised to stay put for now, despite the temptation to send him away for some game time.
The Hatters’ manager Rob Edwards has told Luton Today: “No, I don’t think I would if I’m being honest. I think having three really good goalkeepers around and competing is what we need.”
