The race is on between Fulham and Newcastle United to sign Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge, as per the Northern Echo. The Norway international has been a key player for the Blades over recent years and has helped them rise up to 2nd in the table this season. However, they could be poised to lose him over the next 24 hours or so amid strong Premier League interest.

Hull City close in on stopper

Hull City are closing in on the signing of Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow, according to a report by Hull Live. The experienced stopper has been linked with a few clubs this winter, including Huddersfield Town, Nottingham Forest and Swansea City, but is poised to move to East Yorkshire. He will compete with Matt Ingram for the number one spot at the MKM Stadium as ex-Bristol City player Liam Rosenior looks to guide the Tigers towards the play-offs.

Wigan Athletic to land defender

As per LondonWorld, Wigan Athletic are set to sign Arsenal defender Omar Rekik on loan. The Tunisia international has spent the first-half of this campaign with Sparta Rotterdam in Holland. He is now heading to the DW Stadium and could face Bristol City on 15th February when they welcome the Latics to Ashton Gate.
