This weekend's Championship fixture list begins on Friday night and finishes on Monday evening as Cardiff City host Reading at the Cardiff City Stadium and Watford host promotion-chasing West Brom. Both games are on Sky Sports, as well as Millwall's match with Sheffield United, with three games available to broadcast audiences this weekend.

For Bristol City, they've on their travels this weekend, as they travel North East to face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. The Robins are on a ten game unbeaten run, which was extended on Wednesday night with a 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic. Their opponents Sunderland won 3-0 against QPR on Tuesday night, and the Black Cats will have had a days extra rest before the two meet on Wearside.

Sunderland have several key players out, including prolific scorer Ross Stewart, who is wanted by several clubs, as well as club captain Corry Evans, with both out for the remainder of the season. In the last meeting between the two, Sunderland were managed by Alex Neil, and it was Ellis Simms who played a part in their downfall at Ashton Gate. Much has changed since then, including signings for both, and a change in manager for Saturday's hosts.
