Sunderland defender in-demand

Sunderland defender Dennis Cirkin has reportedly emerged on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford. As reported by The Sun, the Premier League pair are both eyeing up a potential swoop for the highly-rated left-back ahead of the January transfer window.

Cirkin, 20, made the move to the Stadium of Light in 2021 from Spurs and has since become a key player for the North East club. He helped them gain promotion from League One in the last campaign.

QPR boss linked with another club

QPR boss Michael Beale is said to be on the radar of his former club Rangers. The former Liverpool, Sao Paulo and Aston Villa coach worked at Ibrox under Steven Gerrard and has emerged on their ‘radar’ again now, according to reporter Alan Nixon on Patreon.

The 42-year-old joined the Hoops over the summer to replace Mark Warburton. He has made an impressive start to life in the second tier and his side are 4th in the table.

Watford defender leaves on loan

Watford defender Scott Holding has joined Stalybridge Celtic on loan. The centre-back, who joined the Hornets from Stockport County, has returned to the North West to get some first-team experience under his belt.

The 19-year-old spent time on the books at Manchester United as a youngster before switching to Edgeley Park. He has left Vicarage Road on an initial one-month basis.
