Here is a look at the latest news from around the second tier...

Hull City bring back goalkeeper

Hull City have recalled goalkeeper Harry Fisk from his loan spell at non-league side Tadcaster Albion.

The youngster has returned to the MKM Stadium after gaining first-team experience out on loan. He made seven appearances in all competitions.

Roy Keane spotted at West Brom game

Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane was spotted at Deepdale last night as Preston North End beat West Brom 1-0.

The pressure is mounting on the Baggies’ boss Steve Bruce after just one win so far this term.

Keane’s presence yesterday has sparked speculation that he could potentially be a managerial candidate for the Midlands outfit.

Blackburn Rovers plans for January outlined

Blackburn Rovers are not expecting to have a busy January transfer window.

Instead, the Lancashire club are going to start tentatively looking ahead to next summer’s market.

Their director of football Gregg Broughton has told the Lancashire Telegraph:

“I never try and look at January alone, that would be a mistake. Don’t get me wrong, there may be several injuries in a key position, and you have to go and recruit a player.

“But we’re looking at next summer, both in and out, plus internally with players who may graduate from the Academy to have a really good picture of what you want to do next summer and then work back to January and say ‘are there any of those deals, like Ryan Hedges, where he might come in in January because if you wait for him to become a free agent you could put yourself at a disadvantage.”

Cardiff City receive boost on the transfer front

Cardiff City have received a boost regarding West Brom loan man Cedric Kipre.

That is because his parent club cannot recall him in January meaning he will be with the Bluebirds for the duration of this campaign, as per Wales Online.

The former Wigan Athletic man has been a hit with the Welsh side since linking up with them over the summer on a temporary basis.
