Ipswich Town are being linked with Sheffield Wednesday wing-back Marvin Johnson. The Star claim the Owls face a battle to keep hold of the former Middlesbrough and Sheffield United man this summer with the Tractor Boys eyeing up a potential swoop. The pair were both promoted from League One together last season and will be in the hunt for additions over the next couple of months.

Watford looking to land winger

Watford are in advanced talks to sign Reading winger Tom Ince on a three-year deal following the Royals’ relegation to League One. That’s according to a report by The Athletic, who suggest the two clubs are still negotiating over a transfer fee. The Hornets are gearing up for Valerien Ismael’s tenure following his arrival in early May after Chris Wilder’s departure from Vicarage Road.

Blackburn Rovers want midfielder

TEAMtalk report that Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Andrew Moran has emerged as a target for Blackburn Rovers as the Lancashire side look to bring in some reinforcements to their ranks after missing out on the play-offs last month. The 19-year-old, who is a Republic of Ireland youth international, joined the Seagulls from Bray Wanderers in 2019 and is being tipped for a bright future by the Premier League outfit.

He has made three first-team appearances since his switch to the AMEX Stadium three years ago and was handed a new long-term deal last August. Roberto De Zerbi’s side now have a decision to make on what to do with him next.
